Where are all the nurses

Working in a brand new hospital in Bridgeport Tx. and we are so short of nurses... I know this is a common complaint, but we are bare bones staffed. Where have all the nurses gone... Probably to be lawyers, they make the money

Default Re: Where are all the nurses
I'm located south of you, in Fort Worth. As far as I know, Bridgeport is a poorly paying area for nurses. Nurses in that area are willing to commute to hospitals in Dallas or Fort Worth to earn significantly more money for their hard work.
