UTMB Spring 2010

Albkat- I will put in a prayer for you tonight. I sure hope that we all get in together. Our chances seem better at UTMB compared to the number of applicants at UT- Houston.

Hey just wanted to let yall know that I got into Ut houston. my interview at UTMB is supposed to be friday but I dont think Im going to go. Good luck to everyone ... at least Im opening up a spot for someone else in the Bacc2 program.

Did most of you guys that apply to UTHSC only have UTMB as ur backup? PV and TWU are in the Houston area as well and they are both great schools.Some of the ppl who got into TWU that applied to UTHSC are going back and forth between which school to choose,since some say they heard today.Luckily UTHSC didn't take as long as expected so all the UT applicants can hear something soon.I hope you guys get an email tommorow! Tomorrow is another day so stay positive!

Good luck to everyone still processing with their interviews and congratulations to everyone who got accepted. I just got accepted for nursing school but it is for University of Texas at Tyler for Spring 2010. I used to live in Houston, but now I live in Tyler. I applied to UTMB, TWU, and UT Houston. To let you know, things happen for a reason. I never gave up on applying that I was willing to sacrifice and leave home just to have that opportunity to be a nurse. Good luck to everyone, you are in my prayers. Just keep persevering and never give up because I tell you, it is sooooo worth it when you get that acceptance letter...Hard work does pay off and that feeling is priceless...All of us will be starting nursing school at the same time and graduating at the same time even if its in different locations....

I get accepted to UTMB BACC2 spring 2010. and think of changing to generic BSN spring 2010 because of the work load. Can the SON accept my request?

Sammie09, if you decline the BACC2 I don't think its a guarantee that you willeven get in as a generic. But hey if you want to take your chances, best wishes.

Sammie09... definitely call and ask them. If you think it will be too much, then the generic may be the better program for you. I do believe they will let you switch, and you should be able to call them "anonymously" to ask.

Good luck Albkat. I'm sure you'll get a generic interview. I didn't mean to sound ungrateful at all. I'm very sorry.

Sammie09, I just got off the phone with UTMB and they can put you in the generic if you want, they would just transfer you.

And also they have started sending out interviews for generic!!!!!!!!!!!
