uthscsa 2008

Hello! I just got accepted to uthsca's accelerated program for spring '08. Any comments/advice from anyone who has or will be in the program? Also, I will be moving from Dallas and have no idea where to start looking for apartments. I don't want to live too far from school, but if it's too costly I might have to. Any help would be great!

Hey JodeciTX, I just wrote another post about UTHSCSA in the Texas forum about the uniforms. I'm not sure if the accelerated program is the same thing as the generic program which is what I am doing. But, if it is the uniform is all white, including shoes. I live at home with my parents until I graduate this December so I don't really know much about housing but there are a ton of places very close to the campus. You should be able to find something acceptable with no problems. If you ever have any questions about anything (other than housing) feel free to ask. Best of luck!

Thanks for all the help guys! I found a bunch of places online around the med center. Some had terrible reviews, but I'm still going to check them out for myself. How did you guys like the program/school? 1NAmyllion, the accelerated program includes the summer, so it's just a semester faster than the generic =].

Hello. I am a first year student at UT Health Science Center School of Nursing in Houston. Are you in Austin? Our scrubs have to be navy blue, not white........unless they are going to change it in the near future. Congrats on getting into the program!
