UTA Spring 2010

well since the week is basically over with i dont think they will be sending anything out this week. justin said there were something like 500 that applied for the spring semester and they were in the process now of narrowing it down to 300 and arrange from highest gpa, etc to lowest and then they will basically divide the 300 up into 3 sections: the top 100 which would automatically get accpeted, the next 100 which would be considered for potential waitlist and then the last 100 which would get letters saying they didnt get accepted. im not sure how much the Hesi weights in consideration but i think with the interviewing gone they might look at it more .

Yeah that makes since Ayeisha. I hope we are in the top 100 considering we have 4.0's in our science classes. At least I hope we are....I am so nervous now!!!!!

Both schools are great. I applied to UTMB in galveston...I have no idea what I'm going to do if I get in both. I'll just have to make a list of pros & cons...although I love the fact that UTA has the smart hospital. Twu is great school as well! Its good to have options if we both get into the schools we applied to Good luck!!!

yea im soo nervous. i think im going to have to get someone else to open my letter when it comes because im going to be having a panic attack. lol. All I want to see on that letter is Congratulations, cuz anything else i know cant be good....! Im scared that i might get put on the waitlist and the problem with that is if another school decides to accept me while im on the waitlist for uta im going to have to decide if i want to take a risk and stay on the waitlist or go ahead for the other school. I really want to go to uta since thats where ive been at from the beginning.

yeah I understand! I'm just hoping the letter is a little thick and not thin....bc thin letters can not be good. I had dream that I got into UTA last night lol I'm soooo nervous now!! I don't want to be waitlisted either!!!

Ok I just got an email from Justin and he said the only thing the SON looks at for your hesi is if you have an average of a 75 on your overall hesi score. Also he reconfirmed what Ayeisha said that letters will go out at the end of this month!
