UTA Spring 2010

hey ayeisha I am in the same boat as you! I emailed my advisor today so hopefully he will get back to me soon, I have no idea what to expect! I made a 70 on my vocab. I remember my advisor saying I need a 75 or higher but I don't know if that is the minimum score. If it is this would be the first time that UTA takes a min score, all we can do is hope & pray!

thanks for thwe encouragement. i was really bothered bc i thought uta only tested for their required parts but they actually allow you to take the chem, bio, and a&p parts if your want once you are finished with the required sections for UTA. since i thought i couldnt take those parts at uta i didnt even bother studying them. the funny thing is i had so much extra time left after finishing the required sections for UTA that i decided to do the sciences sections for fun and did better on those than i did the darn vocab section that i had been studying for for the last 2 weeks! got a 88 in bio, 80 in chem, and 84 in a&p...and science is my worst subject lol! but yea i am going to email my advisor because i was also told that they wanted at least 75% on all parts, and i know i havent worked my butt off, for them to tell me i cant get in bc of that.

yeah my application is in & everything is ready to go! We should hear I believe around mid sept ! Goodluck to everyone

goopsy you are all over the boards. i really hope you get in. idk if UTA is like TCU, but the way they have their nursing program set up, the students who go to TCU entirely are ready to start the program in the Spring, giving less students in the fall, so maybe thats how it works at UTA. You're in my prayers, good luck.

yes, it does show that you are very determined. you will get in. just keep your faith and keep a positive outlook and it will happen. how did your pharm test go?
