Hey Kim!

I have also signed up for FOCUS. Guess I'll be seeing you there! I really like the prospect of getting some work out of the way and having some extra free time this Fall.

Hey, I don't blame you for passing on a class to go on your honeymoon! Congratulations!!! It seems like yesterday, my hubby and I were getting married. Time flies. We'll celebrate our 17th anniversary this year!

That's why I signed up. I'd like to have the study time. In addition, I just finished up a Nursing Fundamentals course at another school and UT won't accept the credits; therefore, I should know about 95% of the course already. When I talked to one of the FOCUS leaders, we went over my syllabus from the other class and there are a few things I did not do in my other class. She explained that if you "pass" everthing over the summer, there will be about 7 labs you won't have to attend. So, yes, I'd rather do two condensed weeks and get it out of the way. See ya!

Hello! I am a senior right now and I did FOCUS last summer. It is so worth it! You pretty much get a head start. Definitely do it if you can..you will be happy when school starts and you get to sleep in while the other students have to go to skills lab

Hi Futurenurse,

I can remember when we were all waiting to get in there. You and JoshuaClay got in at UT, and I got in at HCC. I started at HCC and renewed my application at UT.....and now I'm going in the Fall 07. Have you liked it so far? Any tips? Must be nice to be ready to graduate!

I am signed up for an EMT-I class. So I don't think I will be able to attend FOCUS or CANDO. Will I be at a serious disadvantage due to not attending? or will my EMS experience make up for it?
