Geez guys give me a wee ray of hope!
Well, I was going to post this earlier, but backed out (did not want to step on anyones toes) BUT you leave me no choice

Remember, we are funny creatures and we are all trying to get into nursing school, or have tried to get in at some point. Some people are just plain nasty and want to make it seem like it is impossible. Maybe they don't have the grades, maybe they applied and did not get in. Stress, pressure, bad information, and fear are the reasons for the negativity. All you can do is get the best grades that you can, finish all of your pre-wrecks, pre-testing, and apply. The problem being that when you have the "perfect students" as you say, that are trying to get into the same nursing program as you, they win due to the points given on GPA. No getting around it. Maybe take one or two classes over for an A, it could make the difference. If you want it bad enough you will make it happen. Don't be discouraged, apply everywhere give it what you have, nothing less, and I am sure something will work out for you.
