TX LVN contract position pay??

by tashaLPN2006 Premium Member

Hi all, i recently applied through a contract company for a position on Ft. Hood in the medical center. I was wondering if anyone knew the range of pay for contract positions on base. I didnt want to ask the lady i sent my resume to, since i feel it's unprofessional to question pay right away, but i'm just curious if contracting pays better than just going through the base personell office to apply for a job. My hubby is stationed there and i hope to get a position on base, so i dont have to mess with the whole endorsement issue since my license is in OH and not TX. Thanks in advance for any help/comments!

tasha
