TWU-HOUSTON Fall 2006

i got accepted today, and i will be attending. it was my first choice. so much so, that it was the only school i applied to!!

i thought about twu too, since it is an excellent school, but when i visited the campus, the reception was cold and confused. it just rubbed me the wrong way, and i left feeling like they were projecting an attitude of "we don't need you...there will be plenty more like you". i mean...i know that is TRUE, but it doesn't make it cool to treat people like that. my dealings with ut-h have always been much better, and the people that i've directly interfaced with have been absolutely wonderful. plus, i have some friends already attending, and they love it. best of luck, and try not to stress the decision btwn the two. they're both great schools...you can't go wrong! pick the one with the best clinical uniforms!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! DOH! i swear i need to take a break from my homework i guess...i'm fried!

i've actually never seen them dressed for clinicals, but they both insist that ut-h has the best uniforms.

The UT students that I have seen were wearing navy blue scrubs w/ a white lab jacket. Some schools make you wear all white scrubs. Blech!

good grief! all white? talk about a laundry nightmare!

You are good! UT and TWU! My goodness, if you get into UTMB also - just hand me your admission letter - OK? I neeeeeeeeeeed to get in somwhere! Can you do me a favor and let me in on your secret?
