? for those at Weatherford college

I will be applying to Weatherfords nursing program come this December and was wondering where they do their clinicals at? I am currently in Fort Worth but within the next year will be moving to Weatherford. Also can you tell me about how many people apply and how many get it. Do you like the program there?

Thanks in advance.

I am not in the program at Weatherford, but I do know that they do clinicals in several places including Weatherford, Ft.Worth, Granbury, and I believe Mineral Wells. I'm not positive about Mineral Wells, but it seems like I recall someone telling me they did them there. I am in the nursing program at TCC in Ft.Worth, and I have seen some of the Weatherford respiratory therapy and nursing students in Ft.Worth. Last semester, I had clinicals at Plaza Medical Center, and I saw Weatherford nursing students all the time. I had a friend who went through the program, and she liked it a lot. Anyway, sorry I can't tell you more. Good luck with your program, though.

Thanks for the reply. I am also applying to TCC as well. Hoping to make it into either program.

I applied to Weatherford this spring and was told that usually about 180 people apply and they accept 40. Last year they took 12 alternates and this year they took 20 alternates. Hope this helps!
