Texas gov trying to get more nursing instructors?

I have heard a lot lately on the news that Texas legislature is trying to get more nursing instructors in the state to combat the nursing shortage. As I understand it, Texas is one of the few places right now where there may actually be a shortage of nurses, and many attribute it to the shortage of instructors.

So, are they offering special grants to encourage nurses to go for their MSN? Does anyone know where I can find information about this? I have my BSN, and have always been interested in getting into education eventually, but I am going to be paying off undergrad loans for a while and no way am I going to rack up more loans in the process. Now, if there is a grant available, I might be persuaded to go for it! If anyone knows of any resources I would be interested to hear about them. Thanks!

I was looking at TWU (Texas Womans University) not to long ago and they were offering a stipend for MSN students . Also, Right now if you look there is a new Online MSN geared toward education at TWU but I don't know if this is the progam that qualifies the student for the stipend.
