Texas BSN Programs

by poboy31

Trying to hear back from current Generic BSN students or graduates to see how difficult the program is. Any advice and suggestions.

Thanks

Which program? There are many nursing programs at many different schools in Texas. Some are more rigorous than others. If you're asking in a general sense - is getting a bachelors of nursing difficult, then it depends on a multitude of factors including your work ethic, financial situation, priorities, etc.

Just BSN programs in general. Well, the actual school work, classes, and clinicals. Do you also have to write a lot of research papers?

I graduated from UTHSC in San Antonio. It definately "doable". It's not easy, you will definately have to work hard as with any other nursing program. Lots of paperwork, and yes you will have to write papers. There is no way around it. But it is "doable". If you have great time management skills you will do great.
