Texas BNE question?

I had to repot a juvenille offense to the board to apply for my lisence. I called them today and they said a letter was in the mail that had further instructions. I was just wondering if anyone has recieved a letter like this and what did it say. I'm so nervous waiting for this letter. Thanks for your input.

It is just that-instructions. They will have you file a declaratory statement, attach $150 or so, do a background check (which they do on everyone anyway) then they will take weeks to months before giving you the "authorization to test" letter. Their objective is to be sure you do not have a pattern of criminal behavior. One event will not keep you from being licensed unless it was a major event. Good luck and be patient. Your license is worth the wait!

I did do the letter explaining my arrest already and paid the extra $150. So I'm just wondering what else they could want?
