TEAS study confusion

ok honestly, does the TEAS study guide do any justice? I've heard both nays and yays. The only thing I'm worried about is that I havent had math since high school bc I clepped out by taking cal I and II dual concurrent enrollment. Therefore, I've fogotten how to do some of the silly algebra stuff. Does it have a good math review?

I thought the math was pretty helpful. I also brushed up on my math by using the books Math Smart I and II. However, at the time, I had not had math in forever and really needed to brush up. I felt like it really helped me on the TEAS. I found just practicing problems and getting faster at working them helped me because nearly everybody runs out of time on the math section of the TEAS. The sections are timed. I did review over the science section, but I felt like it included a lot of A&P. There were maybe 1 or 2 A&P questions on the test. In fact, I personally felt like the majority of the questions were physical science and life science questions. Those would be the areas of the study guide that I would focus on most. There were just a few A&P, Micro, and Chemistry questions. I felt like the study guide was worth the money for me. TCC focuses primarily on the Math and Science section of the TEAS, and I really needed to review these. I have found several people who said they felt like the study guide was worthless. I have met an equal or larger amount of people who are glad they bought the study guide. Since I ended up doing great on the TEAS, I'm glad I bought it. I guess you just have to weigh how comfortable/confident you are with your math and science abilities and go with what you feel is best for you. Good luck with the TEAS.
