Hello, Ranger Student,

I moved your thread to the Texas forum for a better response.

I have been accepted and was suppose to start fall 05 until I failed algebra during the summer. Now I have to wait until the summer 06 before I can start. If you need some info just let me know.

Do you know the cost of their tuition for the LVN-to-BSN program?

My tuition for the spring is around $1800 , that is for 13 hours. There are 45 or 54 (I can never remember the correct number) pre -class hours you must complete first. Then once you are in there are you complete the rest of the pre-class hours for a grand total of 64 hours. it was very easy for me to get in I had all but one class complete and my GPA was 3.2. Where are you going to be graduating from? I am also almost sure you have to have a certain amount of experience as a LVN before you can apply. I didnt really pay attention to that part cause I have been a LVN for years. However, I do remember seeing something of that nature. Even if you do have to get some experience first it will give you some time to get the rest of your classes done if you need to..

I have not yet found an LVN-to-RN bridge program and am looking for one with a reasonable tuition so as to not send my already-high student loan bills even higher. I graduated from a California LVN school 2 months ago and take NCLEX tomorrow in Texas. So I do not yet have any LVN work experience, which gives me time to complete the required prereqs.

I'm in the generic bsn program but I can say that they're small and very focused on their students. I've had no trouble with wait lists and tuition is very reasonable. Stephenville is a small town of about 15000 so finding a place to live cheaply is easy. Also, they have apartments on campus with full kitchens etc for a reasonable price that come with cable and internet. Wrap it up into your loans. The web site should give you an idea of what to expect otherwise. Goodluck!
