San Antonio supplies

Hello! I will be starting nursing school (Galen) in August and have no idea about where the best place is to purchase my uniform and supplies. Any input would be much appreciated!

Hey Tot~

You'll order your scrub top through the school. You can get any old white scrub pants. You can get scissors, a stethoscope, and a pen light from L&M bookstore or you can go to any uniform shop. Your shoes have to be all white, and have a closed-in back.

There are quite a few good and cheap uniform spots around the city...where are you? Don't forget that you can always order online too, since you have until August

There are tons of uniform stores around town, especially in the medical center. Near Galen is Northeast uniforms. If your heading south on 35 from galen (Oconner rd) I believe you take the Weidner exit and it is on the access rd. Classic Uniforms behind Northstar mall has a ton of White uniforms. As for supplies, for the best prices I have found that ordering on-line is cheapest.
