Hi, does anyone know who is hiring New GradS who have passed NCLEX in San Antonio or surrounding area?? Any Help that you can provide me with will be greatly appreciated!!

From what I have heard, the Baptist system is the number 1 system to work for in America. Now then Downtown BMC is a VERY old building... i think 1905?? The hospital is definitely not one of those shiny new hospitals you may be used to seeing! But I really like my manager. I haven't started my new job yet, but i will be within a few weeks.

Congrats & good luck w/ your new job!! I just applied to an MICU and a CVICU job w/ them yesterday & received a follow up e-mail (survey) today, so I am hoping to hear something back from them. I just had a call back from a hospital where I currently live in Alabama today and I am at a loss because I dont want to pass up a job opportunity (because there arent many to pick from in Alabama) but I also dont want to take it if I know there is a chance that I may get the job at Baptist! Anyway, wish me luck!!

Awesome!!

Well, just to let you know, the CVICU is actually a stepdown unit. I know we have a GN position for Days in the MICU and a GN position in the Coronary Care Unit (which is an ICU) for nights.

Make sure you tell them what they want to hear on that Gallup Survey... ! That survey isn't that time to be brutally honest, or you won't pass!
