San Antonio Hospitals

by Susyq25

Hello to everyone.

My husband and I will be moving to Texas next year. Right now SA is at the top of our list and i'm trying to find out as much as i can about the hospitals in SA. I'm an L&D nurse as well as a Women's NP and my questions include: what are the best hospitals to work at? What is the pay for L&D nurses? what about NPs? is there a demand? and any other info. would be helpful. ohh and what areas are nice to live in?

It's a lot of questions so pick only one if you want.

thanks

I live 60 miles from SA and they are always in the need for Nurses and NPs. As foar as L&D, babys are born everyday in SA. They have a methodist hospital, childrens hospital, BAMC is there too. There are soo many too choose from. goto mysa.com...this is the newspaper website. Dependin how long you will be before u get here..I could mail you the want adds from SA newspaper.

I lived in Leon Valley, and that was a nice area. Can't remember much about the other areas. Generally, you want to stay North/NW.

It's a great place to live, especially for families.

Good luck!
