The AFB is really very small compared to one you will find in San Antonio. You occasionally see soldiers in town but the base really doesn't add a lot in terms of job opportunities or activities. The only thing I can think of is July 4th fireworks display that originates from the AFB Recreation out by Lake Nasworth.
