Roundrock nurses


Wanted to inquire about LVN and RN rates for various nursing jobs in this area. Will possibly be moving here in a couple years for my husbands job.

Currently and LVN in Orange, TX but will be an RN by the time we move there( hopefully).

Any comments or wages posted for this area greatly appreciated.

I don't have any figures for you, but I know that Round Rock is close to Austin, so you should have lots of opportunities to do well as a nurse.

Right now in Austin new RN grads with no experience are starting around $19/hour. Just want to say that your timing is great. Three new hospitals are being built or planned for the Round Rock area, plus Round Rock Hospital is expanding. I honestly don't know where they're going to find the people to staff them all.
