Recount for UTMB

I am still waiting to hear from UTMBs BSN program and wanted to get a roll-call going.....who else out there has applied there, been accepted there, or attends there? Thanks!

This waiting is killing me - especially since I put out two applications and have already been let down by one of them.

I still haven't heard...but when I called awhile back they told me that their deadline was May 1st. So we still have a few weeks left.

Hey Veg! Did you get all your paperwork in? I bet the summer can't go by quick enough for ya! You must be very excited. Do you know of anyone else who got an acceptance letter from UTMB? There don't seem to be as many "potentials" that post here like UT-H. I know that packerbacker had once posted that she did hear of people getting turn down letters, but you are the only one I've heard of getting an acceptance letter. Which program did you apply for - BSN or RN to BSN. Hopefully, I'll get to meet you guys in class in the Fall! This waiting is killing me.

PS Are UTMB students considered Longhorns also?

Yes! At the UTMB Campus Bookstore are all kinds of Longhorn souvenirs, just like at the UT Austin campus... I've been to both.

Thanks for the information and your service to our country. I like your signature. Someone else has a signature that says, "Save one life, you're a hero, save 200 and your a nurse."

I'm just hoping I get because I'm not getting any younger! In fact, I'm debating on what to do if I don't get accepted....like, should I go for the RT program instead? At least I'd still be doing direct pt care, I just don't think I would have the same mobility as nurse. Any ideas?

Your not getting any younger! Pssst, you will always be younger than me, LOL.

I started the UTMB RN-BSN Program at the age of 41 & finished at 43 yrs old.
