-The meeting wasn't that intense VERY INFORMATIVE...the lady was pretty nice just letting us know the basics of everything and what to expect for our 1st semester. She was like for us to expect to be in clinicals somedays from 7am-7pm & we should treat nursing like a full time job....and although we only have 13 hours our first semester it is hard work.!

-She also was talking about the white coat ceremony & I'm excited about that...If you all haven't heard about it yet I suggest you email someone @ CON and they should know all about it, because our $15 was due last tuesday to order the scrubs that we have to wear for the ceremony. The only reason I can guess that you all haven't heard anything if it excludes transfer student, but I don't think that makes sense so IDK!

-They are expecting to have at least 2 more meetings before the semester is over. So I would suggest to email someone abou it.

-Do you all suggest that I start applying for FA now? What was the process you all went through? Is it the same like The university?? Also is there a fee list that I can access for the CON expenses??!!

Live&&Love, I think yo should go ahead and apply to get it started, to make sure everything is situated by the time orientation start. Im kind upset about the white coat I feel so unimportant now. Is it like a initiation or something, when is it going to be held?

Well I guess they don't include transfer student then? Two of my friends, Jazzy and I are transfer student and none of us got an email invite or heard anything about that until you posted here.

I guess they don't want us , but thats weird how they didn't ask the first batch of people since we are the ones who are turning in our stuff first, the people who were at the meeting some of them don't have their packets due until Nov.15.

What I mean to say is that everyone is on provisional admissions so how come they don't wait until they accepted everyone. And what about the wait listed people? Since the required money for the scrubs is already due last Tuesday as stated by Live&&Love, they won't participate either? Wait list people won't get their stuff until late Nov or early Dec. Just doesn't make sense to me. I heard this ceremony is held early December, so I don't know..

Oh well, me neither. At the white coat you are suppose to get your pin and jacket with a patch but the lady over the ordering of the uniforms says the pin and the scrubs is included in your 82.00 and the jacket is seperateis another 30.00. So I wonder what is the 15.00 for.
