Prairie View School of Nursing Info

Hello Everyone!

I am interested in finding out more information about Prairie View's SON, but I am having a hard time locating information.

I have been to the school website www.pvamu.edu but I cannot seem to find what I am looking for. Does anyone know if there will be a nursing school term beginning in Spring 2010? Also, any information on deadlines, application process, etc? I have basically completed all of the required pre-reqs while preparing to apply to other nursing prograims, and I would really like to apply to PVAMU SON for the Spring if it is not too late.

Any information provided is much appreciated. Thanks!

Actually CreoleFromtheBoot, this is just what I was looking for. I am so anxious to apply that I totaly overlooked the very information I was seeking..

Are there any other PVAMU Spring 2010 hopefuls out there? Anyone??

I applied for pvamu and done all met the requirements and just waiting. You do know that it is 1st come 1st serve.

It's good to know there are some others out there who have applied to Prairie View.
Yes, I just found out the PV is on a first come first served basis. I am applying to other nursing schools as well, so I already took the Net test. I didn't know that PV requires applicants to take the test there at the school and according to the information on the website, it looks like the school gave the last Net test on August 1st. I doubt if they will give the test anymore this year before the deadline of Oct. 1 for the Spring semester. I will look into it.

I also interviewed with UT Houston recently, and the waiting is killing me. Hopefully, I will hear something back from them soon.

I looked at the nursing webiste and looks like the last day to test at the campus is Sept. 19, 2009 for transfer students and registration deadline is Sept. 9th I was just giving you that information, so I don't its too late! God Bless!

You are so helpful, and thanks for supplying that information!

Actually, I decided to call the school a few days ago and they also told me the exact same thing. I was so excited to hear that it is not too late to apply for the Spring 2010 term. I am hoping that there are still some spots available in the program, since it is on a first come, first serve basis. Anyways, I will apply and see what happens.

Are you thinking of applying to Prairie View as well? Good luck with your future nursing school aspirations!!
