Possible relocation to Houston, TX

by aldersa

I'm a Med-Surg Nurse in Northern CA and is thinking about relocating to Houston to be closer to family. I'm not sure I should make this move because I don't know what the working conditions are like in Houston. I hear CA has one of the best nurse-to-patient ratios. I never have more than 5 patients plus have a CNA, what is it like in Houston? The pay I think is great. I'm having a hard time finding pay information for Houston. Can anyone let me know what's it like to work in Houston?
