Patient Care Tech or CNAs

by rmg5353

Hi, I have completed my CNA certification and was wondering if anyone in the DFW area could tell me their approximate pay range (or PM me if you don't want to post to everyone). I am just trying to get an idea of what to look forward to. Also, If you know of any great places to work, I would appreciate it!
I am wanting to work preferably in a hospital.

Thanks so much!

I started at $10 an hour in a area hospital. Although I have heard of some hospitals offering less with no experience.

Do you mind sying which hospital hired you & when? I am a CNA with 5 months experience in a NH, but have not had great response from hospitals, though I just started looking...

Thanks...

Most DFW-area nursing homes will pay between $9.50 and $12 per hour. Most of the hospitals in the DFW area will pay between $10 and $13 hourly. Other entities that hire CNAs and PCTs include hospices and home care agencies.
