I think I've heard $23 for days and a few dollars more plus shift differential for nights. Take that with a grain of salt because that was probably from this message board rather than a primary source.

I think Brit is probably right if not very close- I think this is what some of the other hospitals in the TMC are offering. If anyone knows the right answer, I'd like to know as this is one of the hospitals I applied too.

I'm kind of getting the impression that the starting pay for new grads in Houston is pretty similar across the major hospitals.

I interviewed with Memorial Hermann and Methodist and both of theyre starting pay is in the 23-24 dollar range for days.

People have been telling me that MD Anderson and Ben Taub might be offering a little more but Im not sure on those numbers.

I work for one of the "big three" and GN starting pay is $23.50 as of May 2007.

I haven't heard from any of this year's new grads-- hopefully it will raise a bit before I get out next May.

Excuse me for being naive, but could you please explain what you meant by the "big three"? Thanks!

A friend of mine just graduated with her BSN and started at St. Luke's at $26.75 hour.

Was the $26.75 the day shift base and with benefits?
