I relocated to Ft Worth Nov 26th. I've not found work for LVN. Any advice for me or is this normal for this area.

Hello,

Try healthsouth or Kindred both are rehabs. I have worked at both of these via agency, it is ok. Health south offers immediate benifits and the pay is comparable. There is also Life care which is a Rehab hospital , I really liked working here. Every patient had a IV and it is constant running but it makes the day fly. I know Vitas Hospice is hiring for private duty right now. There is also a 2-10 opening at Renissance park for a LVN charge nurse. Let me know if there is anything alse I can help you with...

If you are looking for work as an LVN, branch into the agencies that service Dallas and Ft. Worth. They pay well and use agency LVN's frequently. I worked as an agency LVN in Dallas and Ft. Worth for 2 years and loved it. Sometimes you could get good contracts to stay in a facility for a period of time. If you are looking for FT hours in the hospital as their employee, it is a bit harder but not impossible....Good luck!!

Will be moving to the D/FW area in near future from Tn. Anyone know of requirements for licensing when changing between these two states? Can't wait to move back! Any information greatly appreciated
