Net testing

I didn't use a study guide... but there is one that the makers of the test put out thats supposed to be good. There are also some online links in the pre-nursing student forum to free study guides. The math I found very easy... got 100 on it. The reading was surprisingly hard to me. I scored in the mid 70's and ended up with a composite of 88% or something like that. 96th percentile.

There are more sections then just math and reading though that you have to take. It's just the math and reading that are graded and considered.

yea the NET test also consist of science and grammer But majority of it is math and reading! I got my NET study guide from barnes and nobles. Good Luck

The math on the Net test was surprisingly easy, but the reading was surprisingly hard. I had had spent most of my study time on math, so it caught me off guard. Here is my advice to you: pay attention to the time you start, so that you 1) finish on time, and 2) don't finish too soon. The computer tells you how much time you will have for each section, but with NO countdown, so wear your watch and make note of the time you start each section. Use all the time you have to look back over the paragraph(s) and check your answers before pressing "submit." I went to an online site which would have been very helpful if I had just taken advantage of it. I have tried to find the advisement form that had the site written on it, but it is lost in "the pile." I googled and found several sites with free study guides--do try those. Just practice, practice, practice there until you get the gist of what they are looking for--you can do it! By the way, I did make it--yea!

This site is so much better than paying $30 bucks for the study guide that gives you no clue on how the test is! I didn't know about this site until after I took the test, but once I saw it, I was so upset ( ) that I didn't know about it beforehand. I gives practice tests that are just like the real test so it is a great help.

Like previous posters have said, the math is so much easier than the reading, and reading is my best subject! I totally aced the math part (WTG violin!!) although I didn't get a 100 on it. The reading on the other hand, I made an 82 on it. I was pretty upset because like I said, reading is my best subject. This test is a "science reading comprehension" test (whatever that is!!!) so it is supposed to be more difficult. The questions are more like what you will be looking at once you get into nursinng school.

Like posted above, there is also more on there than reading and math. There is a section on science that asked questions about Cellular Biology, A&P, Biology, and Chemistry. Also test taking skills. But, you should be graded on just the reading and math.

My NET test was fast and easy, simple fractions and percents. There was no science or grammar; what test did you others take? lol. i can only imagine that maybe mine did not have all sections bc I am going for the LVN...(?)

It's possible JORLSU. There are different versions, LVN, RN, BSN. Same goes for the TEAS test.
