need info on dallas schools.


hello everyone! i need some help as to find a school where i can go for rn-bsn. i have a relative in dallas, carrollton to be exact. i am not familar with the texas area, so any information is great. i would love to know what good schools are around that area. thanks!!

Texas Woman's University (TWU). The nursing campus is in Dallas, and not that far from Carollton. But I think most of the classes are online anyway, which would be muy convienent.

There's TWU, UTA, Baylor, TCU, and a ton of online universities. I agree, TWU is probably the closest. It's not a BSN though. It's a BS with a major in nursing (not sure if that matters to you).

Most of the RN-BSN programs are online now these days..Except I think UTA who still does the Wednesday deal. But if you look into the UT Tele-campus it is a 5 course program (provided that all your Other pre-junk is done)...I think I am headed to UTMB (Galveston) cause that is where I want to do my NP...Good luck to you....

There's also Tarleton State University, located about 75 miles west of Dallas. They offer an RN-to-BSN program that takes 3 semesters if you don't mind the commute. In addition, this school's nursing program is less competitive than others located closer to the Metroplex.
