I heard a rumor from one of my friend's co-workers that there's a way to go to Oklahoma and take the boards there without requiring an
affidavit and then use that license in Texas. Can anyone confirm this? I'll report back after doing some homework on this topic too. Thanks.
Sorry to hear about this.
I am not sure about being able to get a license in oklahoma and then transfer licensure to Texas. I know it is not easy even for someone with a current texas license to get an ok license. They are not a compact state since they have a different type of health departemtn(b/c of the indian reservaitons).
A friend on my mom's that does travel nursing had to jump through hoops to be able to work there even though she was licensed in TX.
