Need Help

You might check on the Oklahoma Forum here or contact the state board of nursing there. Really stinks that you were only two points short of the B in that class. Did you talk to the professor about options to raise the grade -maybe challenge a couple of bad questions on the final?

I am not sure about being able to get a license in oklahoma and then transfer licensure to Texas. I know it is not easy even for someone with a current texas license to get an ok license. They are not a compact state since they have a different type of health departemtn(b/c of the indian reservaitons).
A friend on my mom's that does travel nursing had to jump through hoops to be able to work there even though she was licensed in TX.

Hey let me know what is up with you. I am in the same dilema. But someone at the Texas board told me if I got an okla license that I couldn't get a texas license. I don't think he knew what he was talking about. I also didn't pursue getting the OKla license. I do know that you have to send your transcripts and class syllabus. And it cost like 40 dollars for them just to look at it. I was also told that the education has to be RN before they would let you take boards. But the lady I talked to at okla said just send money and we will evaluate you. She wasn't to helpful. Also she had to say was yes or no. So I just gave up.
