Need Help

Anybody knows the pay rate in Dallas, TX for fresh graduate RNs? Also, I need some recommendations for good recruiters or employers that will help in the immigration process of a foreign nurse. I want to work in Dallas but I am currently in California. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you very much!

The quote that was given to us during orientation at the college was about $20 per hour not including any shift differential. Sorry, I'm no help on the recruiting part, but I'm sure someone else will be!

St. Paul is starting their GN's out at 21.50 base. At some Baylor hospitals they are paying 22.50 GN if you got to a tele floor and have to read strips, plus any bonuses. The big one is Medical City who is luring nurses with experience in with a $15,000.00 sign on bonus and a 2 year commitment. I did some clinicals at Medical City, the staff was pretty friendly and helpful, (even to a nursing student!)the administration was all over the hospital making sure patients and family members were happy with the care. If I didn't have commitment I would definitely look at hiring on there.

Thank you, Happeetxn for the input. I will look into the hospitals you mentioned. It's just that I don't have the papers to legally work to begin with and I will be needing an employer to sponsor me first. Would you happen to know of any hospitals that will do sponsorship in the Dallas area?
