As said in the previous post, Collin County College is the closest. It's campus is right off of Community and 380 in McKinney. If you had already been accepted into the nursing program at your last school I assume you already have most of the required pre-reqs except possibly statistics. Anyways, Collin has a great nursing program. I was accepted last semester and I start in August. It is very competitive but not too hard. Just make straight A's and you're basically in. I hear people complain about how hard it is to get in, but when you do get in you know that you deserve to be there and there is a bigger sense of accomplishment. Besides wouldn't you rather have your nurse working on you be a straight A and very competent person rather than a B and C student who completed whatever program was the easiest?

Since you are already accepted into a program in Illinois, is there any way you can stay and try to compete it? The programs here are very competitive, you will most likely be waiting another year or two.
