Military wife question on Group One in Killeen

by LTNurse

Hi everyone, my husband is in the military and we are trying to decide if we should request Ft. Hood and I was wondering if the Ft. Hood/Killeen area hospitals subscribe to GO. I find Ft. hood a nice place because of the proximity to Austin which I love but this Group One thing kind of scares me because based on other postings I've been reading it leaves too much room to non medical related issues ruining your career. Thanks.

There is not Group One in Killeen. You have a mulitude of hospitals to choose around here. Scott and White, King's Daughter's and the VA Hospital in Temple; Metroplex in Killeen, and Darnall on post.

GroupOne is a concern in the Dallas-Fort Worth area hospitals, but the entity has not yet spread into facilities in Killeen.
