Memorial Hermann GN Internship

Anybody have more information about internship who are accepted in January? How many people are hired to the internship? Is it very competitive to get into intership like they are only hiring 60 people out of 300 applications? If applicants have previous experience as PCA or LVN are there better chance of gettting hired?

Congrats Dramaangel621! I have not heard anything yet!! What hospitals did you list that you wanted to apply to? What were your qualifications? IE ASN or BSN? Experience? etc.

Congratulations on your new job!! I guess now instead of worrying about whether my packet was received, I can start worrying about the fact that they haven't called me yet. Is your new job at Woman's in the NICU? I think I remember seeing another post about you applying there.

Thank you Try not to worry too much, there is still plenty of time till they start in Jan. And yes the position is in NICU. Im still considered a new grad although I wont be starting when most do in Jan. Last time I talked to them she said I was the only one they had hired in the area so that makes me a bit nervous being in a class all by myself. They let me choose to either start the 12th or the 26th so hopefully by the 26th someone else will be starting with me, but if not, i guess ill just get some good ole' one on one teaching.
