MA's in Texas

Can someone please tell me what the scope of practice for a MA is in Texas? I have looked online and can't seem to find the information.
Thanks in advance for all posts!

Ma's do not have a scope of practice in Texas. Since they work under the Physician they can do what ever the doctors feels comfortable with them doing.

How does that work in a hospital setting? Are they even using MA's in hospitals in Texas? I ask this because I read a thread that got me interested in the topic and cannot find the answer. I guess I could just take the NPA and consider it the same as an unlicensed assistive personnel?
I appreciate your reply!

I am talking about MA's working in Clinics. If there are MA's working in the hospital settings they are working as techs and by no means taking there own patient load.
