LVN to ADN salary increase questions..

Hello all

I will be graduating from HBU with my ADN this spring, but have also been an LVN for the last 10 years. (I finally did it!!!) I plan on working in the Med Center and wondered if anyone could shed some light on pay? I'm assuming they'll at least take that I've held the LVN for 10yrs some consideration? At any rate....I just can't wait to get back out there!! Super exciting! Thanks for any info...

Default Re: LVN to ADN salary increase questions..
I wasn't an LVN, but IIRC, most of the hospital recruiters who came out to my school last fall said they give a 2:1 credit for previous experience. So, a LVN with 10 years of experience would get paid like a RN with 5 years of experience. I don't have any specifics on the actual pay.

Good luck to you!
