LJ, congrats on your score! Also, I wanted to ask you a question....this isn't Laura is it? I've wondered that before bc of the posts you made before this and now bc of your last post....I'm wondering if you are this girl that I know and helped with the hesi. She just took it and got an 89 too! lol

Yeah, I wish I would have just went to LVN school at first instead of MA, then I would be in the process of transitioning into the ADN program. I was lucky though because I went to MA school for free through fa and scholarship that the school gave to the students. I can't wait to get in and finish nursing school.

I'm hoping for earlier October for response, but at the least we are down to 42 days which still seems like a lifetime away.

We still have a while to go before letters are going to be sent out but let's keep each other encouraged and cross our fingers for everyone that applies!

Good Luck to all the future nurses.....

Can some one please help me determine my overall points after the Hesi.
I took the Exam on 9/2 and the score sheet has not been updated! it is my understanding that we have until the 15 to turn in the signed app with the score sheet to cy-fair?
It has taken me 3 long years to get here! im so nervous!

You take what you made on the reading part of the Hesi and divide by 25. Add that to you average GPA from Eng 1301, Psyc 2301, and Anat 1 or Anat 2 (whichever is higher). Then add in your points you received for your co-requisite classes. The number you get should be on a scale up to 12...12 being perfect.

Both the application and the score sheet have to be signed and turned in by 4pm on 9/15 to Cyfair. Also, when I went and turned in my application they made me print out my program evaluation. You might want to print that before you turn in your application if you are planning on turning it in on the 15th. Might save you some time. Myrecords is down at the moment but tomorrow I can post the exact tab where you can print out that information unless someone else remembers what it is called. They needed it because they wanted to go over with everyone what they had left, I think specifically concerning Cyfair's Pharm policy.

Hope this helps!

10 days and the app period is closing! I'm hoping for early October too! I can't wait any longer!!!! lol I'm going craz over here. Oh and....if anyone knows....for Kingwood...I went and turned in my app and picked up a sheet for nursing that was sitting right there in that office. And I guess it was like a checklist of something. And it says on there that the application must be turned in as WELL AS online application needs to be submitted. I don't see a place that you can submit an application online. The only thing I did see was when you go to print your score sheet and application, you can save it. Help, I hope I have everything turned in that needs to be! Anyone know what that sheet was talking about?

When I turned in my application @ Kingwood on Thursday, I handed the nursing assistant my online application & my online score sheet. I did not know there was anything else that needed to be submitted on-line as well. When I go back into the Lone Star website (KINGWOOD), log in with my log in ID under the nursing tab (ADN application), that will take me to the application page where you can view and print your score sheet. Since I already submitted my application, there is a message that tells me that I have already submitted my application. I did see a handout titled "Health Care Requirements for ADN students Frequently Asked Questions" that was on the desk where I submitted my application. I did pick that up. I did not read anything that stated submitting your application online.
