Again, congrats on your great score.
I'm not sure if you read this whole thread! But I posted my advice for that darn test!

And I think that it really helped me....Just put it this way....I followed everything that I was ever told and it brought my score up 11 points! It really worked for me....I will post it again. This test is no joke and I just took it for my third time too! So don't feel discouraged...you can do it! Be positive and stay positive....that right there, being discouraged will def. not help when taking the test! Good Luck!
Re: Lone Star Kingwood 2010
I was worried there for a minute that no one would reply. 11.6 is a great score and I'm sure you will get in!
As fot the Hesi test.....ok...here is some advice as I have taken this test 3 times! Do not read too slow and over analyze as nothing is hidden...all of your answers are going to be found right in the passages! This is the mistake I made two time in a row and wished that I would've found this site the first time I took the test. The passages are very short. There was only one relatively long one. You may look at this message and say....well I know how to read....but I thought the same...but it seems when people get in there and take it, they focus too much on what is being asked and try and find hidden messages because they don't want to mess it up. So....with that being said, I think everyone will do just fine!!!

The math part is basic 8th grade math... know how to tell military time and your conversions...oh and roman numerals. This part will not be counted when its time to apply. However, you do have to score at least a 70 on it. So if you are weak in math, I would definately look over some sample problems!
When I do eventually get in, I will be doing day classes. I really hope I was of some help!
...I took it again on the 7th and yes it was timed. I read somewhere a couple weeks ago (when I felt the same as you do now) some do's and don'ts that really helped when taking a test like this. On top of the list was, do not look at the clock, it is a distraction and takes you a few minutes to get back on track after you've done so. I used the blue hesi pre entrance book, which did help, but not much. If anything it helped me out on the math part. It covered mostly everything. What are you having problems with bc I am here to help. I actually just got home about an hour ago from helping someone for about 4 hrs with preparing for the reading part. I am not a genius, but have taken that darn thing 3 times and know exactly what to expect!
Here's what I posted before. Hopefully this will be of some help to you!
