Lone Star College

I have applied to the Lone Star College system hoping to get into Montgomery this August. I have also thought about applying to Kingwood's night program. Could anyone who has gone through at least the first semester of either program give me some insight on what your schedule was like? I am trying to gage what my week will be like and childcare...etc. Thanks

I just asked the same question - funny! Atleast I'm not the only one worrying about it!

Hi, I'm in the second semester @ Montgomery.

Last semester, my schedule was as follows:

Monday: Lecture 10-12am
Tuesday: Lab 8-10, Lecture 10-1pm
Weds: Clinicals 6:30-2p
Thurs: Clinicals 6:30-2p

There are 4 clinical groups, and we all have lab at a different time. The other groups have their lab either Monday or Tuesday afternoon. Also, the 4th clinical group had their clinicals Thursday evening and then Friday morning due to scheduling.

You can't choose what clinical group you're in, regarding schedule.

This semester, we moved to one day a week clinicals, so Mon/Tue is the same, but we're at Clinicals from 6:30am to 5:30pm each Wednesday. The 4th clinical group has theirs on Friday, I think.

For the future classes, they may be going to one day a week the first semester, but I don't think anything is set in stone as of right now.
