Good luck I'm sure you will do well. Most nurses that will be good or even better nurses than others are the one's who they don't see or put on the back burner, but i know you will do your best. You go gurl!

Im working on it LOL...im sure im close. i have th estudy guide for the NET but theres no science in it. The only pre reqs I have left are Stats and Microbiology, and im taking those this fall. I RETOOK All the classes I had c's in too...all except 1 and that was English 1302. I just took Intro to nursing at UTA this spring...I have to be full time too so more than likely im going to have blow off classes. Thats sounds like the best clinical time not too early and not too late. Catherine told me that they take the number down to atleast 100 because some of the students accepted drop out. She told me for the spring term we should know by mid November. I have like 60 something credit hours so I NEED to be at the first one if accepted. There are plenty places in Dallas to get scrubs at I run into them all the time. I buy most of my books online anyway...I plan on meeting more MWSU nursing students, i actually didnt know that it would be this much info on here lol.I got a blood pressure cuff and stethoscope when I was in High School. And NO u are not rambling I really appreciate all the info. Do you happen to know anybody applying to the DCCCD Nursing programs? And did you submit essays, letters of recomendation etc. on the WTNEC online nursing app...because i didnt.

I just want to tell everyone not to give up in your fight to someday be an RN. I'm living proof. I attended an Ivy-League nursing school and was told by one of the faculty to quit and that I was not "RN" material. Medicine has always been a struggle for me to understand quickly and that is why I enjoy it. The challenge is what I wanted. I failed my NCLEX 3 times! Yes, I said 3 times! I currently work in an ICU and am a ******* awesome RN both emotionally and clinically! I am waiting to hear back from a grad school I interviewed at for CRNA school. Moral: Screw everyone else! Your career is what you make it. You will be the RN you want to be! And the faculty, they're just a bunch of menopausal ******* who are too scared to practice on the front line. If anyone ever tells you NO, tell them to come talk to you when your the awesome RN of the future saving lives and families thanking God for you.

If you want it bad enough, there is NOTHING you can't achieve.

The Lord has his plans for you, and has begun a work that He will see to completion.

wow that was so inspiration for me! I mean I am having it rough being in micro and hearing the stories coming from students that r in the program scares the beegeezees out of me but I didnt get this far to let those who dont want the future RNs to succeed. Got a long way to go but I am prepared for the ups and downs. So thanks RocketMan for keeping it REAL

Sorry FuTuRe Rn for not replying earlier before school started. I know u already started classes already. The first semester is not bad at all if you manage your time right. It will be a good idea to talk to the people ahead of you coz they will give you good insights on what to expect from the instructors.
