Jobs for Medication Aides

Hey guys.

I'm going to be heading into an RN program this fall, but I'm about to become a certified med aide at the end of next month - and that's where my question falls.

I'm going to be moving to Austin in a few months.

I was all psyced up and ready to do work as a med aide, but I can't see where anyone in Austin would even be hiring med aides - have I lost my mind? I was under the impression that most nursing homes used med aides, but I could be totally wrong.

Anyone know of any places in Austin that would hire a new med aide?
(I'm not asking for a job recommendation...)
