Tx dept of corrections has facilities in Sugar Land, at Hwys 99 and 90 intersection. There are LTC facilities around Katy that are new and upscale. One in particular is on W Fernhurst off Hwy 99. If you're renting you can live on opposite side of the road and walk 1 minute to work. Before the end of 2010 two major hospitals will open on I 10 at barker Cypress: Texas Children's and Methodist. Memorial Hermann and Christus St Catherine's are big and within Katy limits. While they may not use LVNs much, they will make getting other places easier and wages higher.
