Info on DFW area L&D Internship?


I have been trying to find info on L&D internships in the DFW area(perferably Mckinney area) on the internet but have been unsuccessful. If anyone knows of any hospitals that has one or if they did one and have any info I would really appreciate the it.

THR-arlington recently had openings for october intake but it's all filled. Most internships are gone and probably they will have Jan intake. Some hospitals they hire pple but they do not have intern programs. The only hospitals i know who offer internships are, Baylor, THR, Methodist Health System & HCA and companies just keep looking.

I too am looking for a internship . What I know is you continually have to keep on the hunt. Most internships start several times a year with the next being in Jan...but they take apps like right now so get to looking....good luck

You are in luck! Baylor just posted for L&D internships that start in January. If you go to baylorhealth.com then click on careers at the top of the page, then click on nursing (side of the page), scroll down halfway and under the nursing drop down box click gn intern.

I believe they have L&D dallas and mother/baby dallas.

I started my internship in June at Methodist Dallas. Historically they offer internships in June and December.

parkland, their L/D is extemely busy and you will learn alot quickly
