How much do nurse tech's make in Houston area?


I am a Nursing student and I have an interview for a nurse tech position. I'm not sure how much money to ask for. Does anyone work as a nurse tech or have an idea what they make. Thanks

It probably isn't too negotiable. When I was a tech at SLEH it was 11.50/hr...but I was in their
student nurse association program.

My last job as a PCA was at Texas Children's: 12.50, but they told me that's the highest a new hire can get. Before then, Bayshore medical: 10.91. They also said that's the highest. That was 2 years ago.
