how long for GN permit in TX?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering how long it took to get your GN permit in Texas after you graduated? Supposedly, my nursing school sent in our papers Tuesday (overnighted), and was just wondering how long I should expect to wait to get my permit? They tell us 2-3 weeks, but I have heard of others only taking days. What do you guys think?

It takes days. They work really very fast these days. When we finished our hesi exit exams, they sent out our papers the same week and on checking online for mine the following week, i foumd my name listed online on the BNE website.Employers can also verify you online with that. Hope this helps.

Duncan3178...I just recently graduated on May 11, 2007. The college I attended overnited our paperwork on Tuesday, May 14, 2007 and on Friday, May 18, 2007 you could search the BNE website online and view your GN permit by doing a name search. It was pretty quick. Hope this helps.

some of my fellow graduates started getting their e-mails with their ATT starting last wednesday. those that got them wednesday, their GN went into effect saturday. naturally, i could not be one of those that got it right away! more of them got the e-mails friday with their GN effective date of wednesday. so, i think i am just freaking out thinking that something is wrong. hopefully, i get my e-mail with my ATT today or tomorrow!!!
