Houston-bound!

My family will be moving to Houston sometime in June and I will start job hunting sometime after March. I have 15 years of RN experience with the last 8 of them spent in critical care nursing(ICU/ER), while my wife has a year of med-surg. experience. In the meantime, I am trying to gather up as much information on hospitals in the area with the intention that I will narrow in on just three prospective employers. Any comments/advice will be highly appreciated. What are the salary scales and working conditions(pt. ratio, overtime options, etc.) like, anyway?
