hEY fELLOW tEXANS..... i MISS hOUSTON sOOO bAD

Ok, so here is what I want to know.... I am from Houston. I have lived in Tulsa Oklahoma for 4 years now, and we are looking to move back in june 2010... my question is, what are the requirements for LVN's there. In Oklahoma you can just go for one year tech school, take the boards and be on your merry way. Is HOuston the same way, or do you have to have and AAS to be a LVN. Just curious??? Thanks Ya'll.........

Most people here who have the AS or AAS are RN's. LVN programs generally offer a certificate. They're competitive though and most often involve a set of prereqs prior to admission.
