I'm scheduled to take the exam for TWU on June 12th. I do have a question for you though. On the math portion were calculators allowed?

Hey there! No, prometric wouldn't let me print my scores out. But I was able to write them down. They said they will release scores once the month is over. Antime after you have taken the test, you are allowed to call and pay for an additional school for scores to be sent to. The scores automatically go to the school you selected at registration.

How was the test overall? How did you all prepare? I am going to be taking the exam as well, just haven't signed up yet. I know the deadline to register for the program is Sept 1. Could I still take the exam in August and have enough time to get the scores to the school?

Hi there! No, I am not applying to the weekend program. I do not think that many are. I know that if you sign up for an Aug test, they don't release the scores till the month is over, until Sep 1 or 2. I don't know about TWU and if they are ok with this, so I would call and ask. I only took the HESI for TWU after classes were over... do they require it now for admission?

Yes, instead of the NET for admission, students have to take the HESI a2 for admission.

I was told by the advising office to take the test at least a month prior to admission. My assumption is that they want the test scores to be there as of Sept 1, not later. Also realize that it takes up to 2 days to register for the class because you have to send an email to them first and then they send you information about how to register for it. So be sure you plan for that.

Yes, they require the HESI A2 (Admission Assesment) for entrance now instead of the NET exam, which was bought out. Last January was the last NET testing for TWU. I think you are talking about the HESI exit exam, which we will also have to take once nursing courses are done.

hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone that has taken the hesi a2 for TWU would like to share their scores? I made an 84% composite and imjust wonderinghow everyone else did. I tried asking the school what would be considered a competitive score but they told me since the spring 2010 applicant werethe first ones to take the hesi at twu she didn't know.
