I noticed that the RN-MSN program at TWU requires a math class called Quantitative Approach to Introductory Mathematics (Math 1013 ). The course equivalent at TCC is Survey of Mathematics. I have taken College Algebra and Statistics, but I have never taken this class, and I don't know much about it. What kind of math does it cover? I am currently in the RN program at TCC, but I would like to go directly into an RN-MSN program when I am finished. I am considering TWU and a couple of other schools for their RN-MSN programs. I'm not sure if it is worth taking an extra math class to go to TWU. It is more convenient for me to be in a program as close as TWU, but I have all of my prereqs finished for the other programs that I'm looking at, and they are online for the most part. I really hate math and thought that I was through with it once I passed Algebra and Statistics. Can anyone give me more info about this class??? Thanks.
