I received my temp license in about 2 weeks. My perm license I received within 3-4 weeks. They were pretty darn quick with me BUT I've heard the opposite. As long as you have your temp license you'll be able to work.

Chou and welcome to Texas.... Yeeehaaaa!

My temp license took 2 weeks, and I applied back in early september.

My permanent license however, I just received about 2 weeks ago. (My temp license expired today). I was listed online as a RN with my permament license for a while, it just took forever to receive it.

I endorsed my California license into Texas. The temporary Texas license took about 1 week to arrive in the mail. Overall, the endorsement process of obtaining a permanent Texas license took about 6 weeks.
